AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011: Played in 84 sets, hitting .119 with 144 kills and 129 digs … was third on the team with 31 blocks … hit .455 with 11 kills against Cal Poly (Sept. 2) and tallied 11 kills, hitting .381 vs. Michigan (Sept. 3) … had 11 digs, seven kills, and four blocks against UTSA (Sept. 17) … recorded 14 kills and 14 digs while hitting .244 vs. SMU (Sept. 17) … had 13 digs and five kills against San Diego (Sept. 24) … hit .381 with 10 kills and eight digs vs. Portland (Sept. 29) … totaled 11 kills and 14 digs against Gonzaga (Oct. 1) and collected 15 kills, hitting .379 with 10 digs vs. Saint Mary’s (Oct. 15) … had a season-high four service aces to go along with six kills against Portland (Nov. 12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Female Athlete of the Year at CCHS and San Diego Union Tribune Division 3 in 2010 … on the High school all-tournament team four times … San Diego Union Tribune Athlete of the Month in 2010 … Athlete of the Week in 2010 … High school team won state championships in ’08 and ’10 … CIF Champions ’07 - ’09 … overall high school record was 22-9 … club team participated in Junior Olympic Championships in 2010, as well as in ’09 when it placed fourth and in ’08, placing 10TH.
PERSONAL: Father Jeff swam at San Diego State and mother Renee swam at N.C. State … plans to major in communication.
